History
Bitmvr Industries was founded in the spare room of a two-bedroom apartment in Central Indiana in 2022.
Its story began as a recurring daydream our founder, Jesse Riddle, had while sitting through countless meetings buried deep in the machinery of corporate IT. In those rooms, new systems were often designed to solve imaginary problems, introducing more friction instead of less.
Jesse saw a gap between enterprise sophistication and small-business reality. He recognized that small and midsize businesses (SMBs) needed access to mature, reliable, and efficient technology without the bureaucracy, waste, or needless complexity that often exists in larger organizations.
Bitmvr was just a “maybe someday” idea, a passing thought between keystrokes. Then came 2023, when “Employee Success” departments across the country told tens of thousands of engineers to go kick rocks. That shift gave the idea oxygen. What started as a distraction became a direction, and eventually, a company.
Mission
To improve the day-to-day operations of small and midsize businesses by removing the friction of getting things done.
Bitmvr Industries exists to make technology work for people, not the other way around. We help organizations simplify the way they operate, strengthen what already works, and modernize at a pace that respects both their history and their resources.
Every system we design, migration we manage, and automation we build has a single goal: to make work smoother, faster, and easier to sustain.
Values
These values define how we think, work, and build. They serve as the principles that guide every project and relationship at Bitmvr Industries.
Build, Don’t Destroy
This value takes its name from a closing thought shared by Travis E. Oliphant on the Lex Fridman Podcast:
“Build, don’t destroy. Build. So often the tendency is to not like something—they want to go attack it. Build something. Build something to replace it. Build up. Attract people to your new thing. You don’t need to destroy something to build something else.” – Travis E. Oliphant
That idea sits at the center of Bitmvr Industries. Real progress comes from creation, not demolition. We help organizations evolve by building around what already works and guiding transitions that respect their past while preparing them for what comes next.
Remain Unsatisfied
Progress requires a quiet discomfort with the idea of “good enough.” We believe growth is a process, not a finish line. By constantly refining our tools, methods, and understanding, we continue to move toward greater simplicity and clarity in everything we create.
Native Productivity
True efficiency begins with what you already have. We prioritize native tools and built-in capabilities before turning to outside platforms. A solution that lives close to its environment is easier to maintain, faster to operate, and more secure over time.
Keep It Simple
The ultimate goal of every project is clarity. We remove noise, reduce dependencies, and design systems that make sense to those who use them. Simplicity is not a compromise; it is the mark of a mature and thoughtful solution.
